Brent spent his first 20 years living on Mid-West heritage in Brighton, Michigan. After years of playing hockey, Brent moved on to cycling his Junior year of high school. After a few years of slogging through cold winters and cloudy days, Brent moved to Grand Junction, Colorado to finish school at Mesa State College. While attaining a BBA in Marketing, Brent raced collegiate mountain, road and cyclocross events, placing on the podium at the 2009 US Nationals. Brent continues to live in Grand Junction, racing mountain bikes professionally for Livetrainrace.com and runs a local cycling shop, LTR Sports.
